CONCEPT

For [DUSK till DAWN], our store is our home, our nest, our heart. The creation of our brand-new “nest” this season is the inspiration behind “Straw and Stain”, the Spring/Summer 2013 collection of [DUSK till DAWN]

Warm little feelings emit when working as a team, a small little laugh when you focus so much on the task at hand that you do not realize you have a straw in your hair, deft little movements when you craft something with your hands, calmed by the rays of sunshine and summer breeze that mellow everything down, these are the basic ingredients of our "Straw and Stain" collection.

The theme is reflected in our selection of fabrics and cuttings. [DUSK till DAWN]’s signature loose fittings and light cottons are a perfect match for summer, while stretch fabrics provide an ease of movement, while outfits featuring canvas and hopsack enable durability. Vintage work-wear hues, such as flax beige, denim blue and variations of deep greens, conjure the image of outdoor working. Continuing from our first collection, [DUSK till DAWN]’s diagonal cut is still a heavy feature in our clothing and this is but one of those little “bridges” that allow "Straw and Stain" to be effortlessly mixed and matched with our previous collections, in order to create your own unique style that defines you.
